I'm kind of surprised that Miami and NYC are on the list but I can kinda see why though...we have to look beyond south beach for Miami. NYC, horrible traffic & high cost of living and now they're dealing with bed bugs epidemic. http://www.forbes.com/2010/02/11/am...-business-beltway-miserable-cities_slide.html
The most miserable places I have been to for extended periods of time are anywhere in Ohio and suburban northern California.
Look...I'm a huge sports fan...obviously. But making this list and combining things like lost jobs...shrinking economies...with, "the Rams haven't won many games in a while" is just about the stupidest thing I've heard since...since...since earlier today when I heard something stupid. Seriously..had to take a list like that seriously.
and a lot of the list is made up of those areas In fact pretty much all of northern ohio, indiana, illinois and Michigan are on there. They should move south to Kentucky
Come to the North Side of Chicago in June, July, August, or September...not miserable at all. Let's not talk about the other 8 months.
College Station? Really? I always had fun when I went there...i guess I always partied when I was there. Don't be a dork.
There was an article posted on here last week that said there were 300+ shootings in Chicago this July. I'm guessing the North Side is away from all this violence?
I am from Stockton, which managed to fall out of the top spot from last year all the way to number two. I would say that like most places it has good and bad areas, it just has a worse ratio than most.
I've been to Stockton and Modesto and would have to agree with the article. If the poor economy won't drive you away, the heat will.
Not necessarily. To generalize, Chicago has three directions (North, South, and West...there is no East because of Lake Michigan). A majority of the violent crime takes place on the South and West sides (as well as the North-West side).
Judging from what I have seen in my life the most miserable city I have ever seen was whatever city in Arkansas they were in at the end of Bruno.
