Well, lokee lokee, can I have some? [tongue lash] I like mine rare! Vatos Locos forever, homes. I can probably tell you what line of the movie comes next if you tell me a line, or recite an entire scene for you. "Let me see the color inside you... [Miklo does nothing]... that's what I thought... amarillo" "Wachame, Jolly Green Giant!" "Chale, homes! This ain't no pinche card game!" "Hey... Life's A Risk, carnal..." [Miklo takes a pipe and runs to sneak behind Spider's ride as Cruz and Paco watch over the gate] Wacha, wacha... Miklo's got some b_lls, ese! You can watch BOTH in YouTurd parts. American Me Blood In, Blood Out: Bound By Honor
What I never understood was how there was a scene on the back cover of the VHS on BIBO where Paco is holding a woman in a green dress, but that scene wasn't even in the movie. There was no love interest, which makes it more of a macho movie for us MEN. I wonder whom that woman was? I guess I have to go READ now... Many scenes of BIBO: Spoiler "Hey, don't be puttin' stains in Frankie's back seat, homes... " "Front seat... or ANYWHERE else, vato!"
You're hardcore BGA, aren't you, Lil Pun? Personally, I like Bonifide's character... he commands the screen well and looks out of the ordinary.
Orale ese,I thought Santana got a bad deal.He gets raped and he is the one that has to serve 18 years? So he killed the raper.. it was self defense! I can't decide which I like better. sorry =(
Man, I saw that when it came out at the Angelika in Dallas...great fn movie, so good, I picked it up on DVD...I would highly recommend this film... Vatos Locos FTW!!!!
I know right?? What I love about this movie compared to the standard gangster movies is that there is no rise or fall story.. there is a rise but to only survive and making choices and consequences from your fall.. The ending of the movie was just fking awesome, and sad too...
^dude, so wrong...i forgot about that part... Agreed...I had no idea what to expect when I saw it, then the story unfolded and wow...first of course getting to America, then what it takes to get there plus the gang aspect...crazy good...
I've seen it and I was the premiere, the director actually spent time with real mexican gangs to do his research. great movie, but those other movies are more about Mexican Americans, Sin Nombre was about migrants who had to travel through Mexico to get to the US.
Both great movies. Having grown up in southern California (Brawley, Holtville, Calexico, etc...) I could relate to many of the decisions and choices that these characters were forced to make. Some good, some not so good.
