Ok, if I don't see much response on this, I won't post it again. My opinion: All twelve were good tonight. That being said... Carmen: Was really good, but too young for me to vote for. After all, I am 31. Charles: Don't know why, but he just doesn't seem like he'll make it. Nice guy, though Clay: Fantastic voice. Would make it anytime before the 80's in a blink. Don't think he'll win, but he will get a contract. Corey: Hard to say... Seems like a good guy, but I don't see people liking that range these days. Who knows later, but not now. Joshua: Mann... this boy is a Country Star!! But not a pop star. We will be hearing from this boy for years... on 92.9 Julia: My personal wet dream. She will not win, but I HOPE we find her anywhere else! (In front of my church with me and a ring would not be a bad thing!) Kimberly C.: KATYGIRL! She honestly has a chance to go all the way. My personal favorite to win. Kimberly L.: Great up until tonight. She wore out the "rainbow" song, and although she certainly deserves another chance, my opinion is that she will be the first to go. Rickey: HERCULES! HERCULES!! That's hilarious the first time. Slightly funny the second time, and increasingly annoying every other time. Unless he blows the roof off, this one tag wonder should go. Ruben: Did well. My personal opinion? The producers decided to make this "idol" about voice, and not about looks, and that is a shame. I have to explain this: They've shown all of the heavier people in this season as attractive. In my opinion, everytime I've listened to Ruben I've been impressed. But not nearly as much as the judges, including Simon. In my opinion, if I'm harsher than Simon, there's a fix. My personal opinion, there. Trynice: My God, they have found a fantastic singer here! Just... Please! No Music Videos! Vanessa: I agree with simon! She could be a great entertainer! But she will never be a pop star.. OK. That's it. I'm hoping other people here are as nerdy as me on watching this!
I'm a loser too and I watch the show. I think it will come down to Clay and Kimberly because they are the two most talented. I think Kimberly's popularity is still hurting from when she acted like a b**** to Julia but she has the look and the voice to win it all.
Ruben all the way, I don't think its fixed, the guy is really really good. Anyone else think Charles Grigsby looks kinda like Stevie Francis?

I agree to a certain extent. But.... Look at last years contestants comparatively. This years, are obviously 10 times better (female wise) That said... ever since MTV, looks are, at the very least, palatable.
Oh, and about Julia. I would shoot a Lion in the face.,.. I would strangle Bart multiply.... I would send Lisa to a private school. She is that hot.
Hey, I wanna join the Loser Squad, too. The winner of last night's show (by a small margin over Clay) was Ruben. Dude got a standing O. That's tough to beat. Seems like Fox is really pushing him, too, for some reason. Other great performances include Clay (didn't he get a standing O, too?), Kimberely Caldwell, Vanessa, Trenyce, and Corey. Everyone else was average or "high school competition level" at best. Handicapping the good performers and their chances: Clay: This guy needs to go on Broadway and forget about this show. He could be like the next Michael Crawford or something. I see him making the Top 3. Is he gay? Seems like it. The favorite right now. 3:5 odds Ruben: He may sing like one, but he doesn't look like an American Idol. This will hurt him later on when Simon gets vicious. Will make at least the Top 5 (likely Top 3). 2:1 odds Vanessa: Great voice. Great personality (in a word, spunky). Is she the next Kelly Osbourne (with a better voice and without the pouting)? Will her looks be her downfall? 4:1 odds Kimberely C.: She's certainly pretty and has a nice voice, but her personality is a little blah. She's starting put more emotion in her performances, which will help her out greatly. Latching onto Clay will also help her (she hugs him every 5 seconds). 5:1 odds Corey: The guy has a Michael Jackson singing voice and an awful lisp. Voice = good. Speaking voice = huh? 5:1 odds Trenyce: Good performer, good voice. A "bad" version of Christina Christiansen. 7:1 odds I think Clay is going to win it all, personally.
OK, I havent been watching this... so which one is the guy with the big ears and the wild looking hair? I saw a clip of him on Good Day Live and thought he had a really good voice.. and that Britney-lookalike Kim from Katy...seems to have a pretty good voice, and I wouldnt kick her out of bed for eating crackers.... other than that...I probably still wont watch..just curious..

Bah! Those are bad pictures of her. On the show, I think she looks a hell of a lot better. I believe that her new hairstyle does it for me. Reminds me a lot of my ex-girlfriend. When I see pictures, I'll send them. BTW, if she did a shoot for Maxim, I don't think this would be arguablel.
