The projector room guy I'm waiting to hear from the krunk guy they were previewing and the 'eye of the tiger' dude
How many caught Rome's interview with Gene Simmons a few months ago. Very interesting, and odd guy to say the least
I don't think Paula and Gene think much of each other. From what I saw, they were acting like they were not sitting next to each other.
Caught a bit of this while the wife was watching.....had to stop and watch when I realized that was The God of Thunda sitting there. Paula seems a bit of a snob...Im sure considering Gene's very public past...she probably considers him scum. Gotta say....that show seems to attract the biggesst bunch of no-talent spacecases and attention whores the world has ever seen...somehow fitting considering the state of pop stars that this show supposedly is lookin for. and 80s rock/metal bands get trashed for being cheezy? they were Mozart-like compared to most pop bands/singers these days.
After hearing the Rome interview, I got the feeling that Gene Simmons is way too impressed with himself.
That was hilarious when they did the subtitles for that dude. Could anybody understand him? Did William Hung make any kind of money for whover put out his horid album? If I'm a rap mogul, I see a low risk investment with this kid. Oh, and that giant singing "eye of the tiger" was hilarious as well.
I used to like to watch the first couple of shows to see the bad ones get made fun of. Now it seems people are trying to look stupid on purpose and become the next Hung (Eye of the Tiger dude, for example).
Yeah that "can you dig it" guy was pretty hilarious. I agree with what someone else said, these people must be trying to become the next William Hung. I thought I had heard that these people go through other judges before they can go before Paula, Simon, Randy and whoever else is there. If this is true then there must be something wrong with those other judges letting stuff like this through. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that first set of twins making it at the end, and then the other set didn't make it. I thought the second ones were definitely better. Pugs
my first concert was KISS at the summit in the late seventies. loved them then, still find the music comfortingly nostalgic in a campy way, but man, gene simmons is a d******d.
for me KISS wasn't about the music it was about being 12 and KISS being everything that our parents and other adults hated
Does Gene even sing? I know he doesn't sing lead in KISS. Personally, I think he's not a very good candidate to be a judge of a singer. Now, if this were "American Guitarist", then I might accept him as a judge. I've heard him talk before about how he can tell if a guitarist is good by the way they strum their power chords. LOL I liked Gene in that one movie "Runaway". Any chance of a sequel?
