They need to release a DVD of nothing but Simon ripping into the contestants and watching those pansies cry their eyes out...
the only possible reason to watch this crap again would be to watch Simon rip em down... God I love that man (in a totally non-sexual way)
I think the show is pretty much a joke, but I have to admit, this first episode is a bit intriguing....when they weed out the bottom of the barrel. Some of those people I've seen on the commercials sing as bad as I do.
Which is worse, "You might be the worst singer on the face of the Earth" or "You would be the end of the American music industry"?
Ok...so I'm watching SOME of the show tonight. The funny parts of the auditioning. But I SWEAR I will not watch this piece of **** show once the real competition begins.
LMAO! The guy that impressionated Enrique Inglesius was hilarious! He was pathetic. And he argued with them that he really was good! LMAO!
I watched only the first episode last year, and I watched tonight's episode. I couldn't care less about the competition. Like many others have iterated, the true greatness about this show is watching the people who lack talent but think they can sing and watching Simon rip them to shreds. Nice to see Austin on the show. ... and twins!
If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. I, like you, was merely curious at first, denouncing the show as utter trash. After a few viewings, though, I found myself pulled in, watching every show. It grabs hold of you and doesn't let go. Run!! Run far away and don't look back! Go watch Celebrity Mole or Joe Millionaire instead. Don't let American Idol take you! Ruuuuuuuun!! (Wow. Some of those auditions tonight were shockingly, stupendously horrendous. I almost feel bad for the judges... Well, almost.)
I watched a few minutes before the Rockets game last night... How funny! Did anyone see the guy with his pants ripped up to his waist that sang soooo off-key it wasnt even funny...and then when they called him on it...he got pissed and started insulting the judges?? freakin Hilarious!!! he was so bad Paula couldnt even find anything nice to say to him...you know thats bad! I should have taped that instead of taping the game....what a waste of tape... I wil watch tonite just to see some more of the truly bad singers.....like watching a trainwreck...you just cant help it
AB- The funniest thing to me was when the contestant, whose wife was giving birth that day, got done with his routine. Simon voted against and the other 2 voted in favor of him going to Hollywood. Then Randy tells the guy he should name his child Randy....Paula suggets "paula" and SImon tells him that he should name the kid "Lucky"...classic
Thats what i was thinkin...all hand movement..."I don't want to hear this." as she/he ran it's hands all in front of it's face and head.. Calling Randy fat and I forget what all he said to Simon and Paula..but it wasn't pretty! I almost wished that I could have seen all of it, but the Rox take precedence...
