In truth, I think he'd be the one of our people with that level of potential, but the one I'd be least likely to bet on (Green, Sengun, Bari in that order for me based on how they're looking play style wise.) Has to be said though, I thought people were bullshittin about the "top 5 athleticism" and all the stuff like that but actually holy ****ing ****, that kid moves different. Jalen moves different in a kind of graceful "oh wow, how did he start there and end there" kinda fashion, Amen looks like he's flying sideways. If he learns how to play NBA basketball at a good skill level then barring injuries that's one hell of a serious mismatch at PG. The power in his athleticism reminds me more of a Westbrook type of explosive, where Green has more of the glidey young Kobe/Jordan look to his movements.
If I've said it once I've said it a million times: Amen is the greatest leader this team has seen since Prime Hakeem
Supposedly, he can't shoot. That doesn't sound good for a team that didn't exactly scorch the nets last season.
I like him so far. Seems like a great kid. Can't wait to see him play. I watched part of that video with Penny Hardaway, and on the first drill, one of the twins kept losing his dribble. I hope it was Ausar .
I will declare him the greatest or the biggest bust after the 1st quarter of the first summer league game.
I am concerned about his broken shot but he does seem the type to work really hard to fix it. I'm hoping he will become a star with us, just like all of our players.
When Amen wins summer league MVP (he will be, trust me, I've read this entire thread) I will be taking out a second mortgage to place on him winning Rookie of the Year
