    Pretty upset I wasn't. Have been a Prime member for a couple of years, spend a decent amount using Prime. Was already looking to get a Kindle for my niece.

    Not sure what they're using to determine who qualifies, but it's definitely not books/music. I never purchase either. It looks like the offer also shows up on the front page for some people, so you could try that. Maybe refreshing a couple of times. Could also call/chat with someone to see if they'll give you the discount.

    Sweet deal. Been in the market for a basic tablet without breaking the bank so I got the Fire HD. I also had enough points through my CC to cover the entire cost of it!

    If you can get the paperwhite, I'd recommend that one, even if it's just for resell. Make a quick $30-$50.

    I was able to get the deal just ordered the paperwhite

    I had some extra points laying on one of my credit cards I was going to actually close out so I was able to actually pay with points and get it free :D

    You can do multiple chats. That's what I had to do the other day to get the difference refunded to me after a price drop. Tell them you at least want a credit toward your account.
