Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for its animated series “Sausage Party: Foodtopia”.

The series serves as a sequel/spin-off to 2016’s R-rated animated comedy “Sausage Party” helmed by Conrad Vernon.

The film followed Frank (Seth Rogen) the sausage, Brenda (Kristen Wiig) the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco (Salma Hayek) and Sammy Bagel Jr. (Edward Norton) who learn the horrifying truth that all will eventually become a meal.

After warning his pals about their similar fate, they devise a plan to escape from their human enemies. It made $141.3 million at the global box office from a $19 million budget.

Rogen, Wiig and Norton are back, as are Michael Cera as Barry and David Krumholtz as Kareem Abdul Lavash. Will Forte, Natasha Rothwell, Sam Richardson, and Yassir Lester have all been cast.

The series is written by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir who also executive produce alongside Rogen, Vernon, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Alex McAtee Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, Andrew Millstein.

The eight-episode series premieres on Prime Video on July 11th.

    Loved the first one.

    I'm totally in.

Honestly, I saw a special premier screening of it before it came out. I don't think I've laughed as hard for as long as I did during the final 10+ minutes of it.
