RANT ON Anyone use this Super Saver Shipping where they essentially ship for free. I placed my damn order like a week ago and all items are in stock(usually ship in 24 hours) but the estimated shipping date is not until the 20th - 28th with delivery estimates on the 24th - 02nd. I understand that their Super Saver Shipping option says it may take 3 to 6 days longer to ship but mine is more like 10-14 days longer. What's the deal? Free shipping but we won't ship until we are damn ready? Damn! Just ship me the damn items before I cancel my order. I don't understand this Super Saver Shipping....maybe they call it that cause they never ship your damn order. If the items are in stock, then ship the damn things out already! I'm not sure I quite understand how this option works. We will ship for free but only when we are damn well good and ready. Great business tactic! Anyone understand what's going on behind the scenes to incur such a long delay? Maybe they really are shipping from the Amazon and they had to send word via tribal messenger. He's still in a hand-crafted canoe traversing the river. Geez....I would like to get my shipment some day before I pass on. ARGH!!!! Are they trying to lose my business? I'll walk....oh yes....I will. They will see RED all over again. RANT OFF Surf
i've used the Super Saver and they usually ship it before the estimated date. email them at orders@amazon.com
Surf: outlaw is right. Normally, Amazon will ship your items before the date that is showing on your "Where's My Stuff" page. Trust me on this one...I have used the Amazon super saver shipping probably at least 10 times now, and I DON'T ever remember them shipping the items at or after the date that they would say that they would ship them. I have a phone number, but it is long distance. Unfortunately, I do not know off the top of my head and I would have to go home and get it. That won't be until another 8 hours or so. However, I will post their phone number later tonight, if you want me to. I have found that talking to someone on the phone (even if it is long distance) is better than relying on email (although it's not that bad..it's just that I have the peace of mind knowing that my problem is going to be solved a lot sooner if I talk to someone by phone instead of by email).
