    Class move, Amare.

While it is a business, it's good to see that some people can still maintain a level of respect for others on a personal level.

LeBron should hire Amare's publicist. With all of LeBron's money, he sure is paying for some bad advice. If he had come out and said, "I love Cleveland and the fans, but I had to make a business decision to move on to another team" with a quiet and dignified press conference, people would not be nearly as upset.

Sure Cleveland fans would still take it hard, but I bet most of the rest of the country would have still idolized him. His PR team screwed up, big time.

    Was that so hard Lebron?

That would take less than 5 minutes for anyone to write.

Amare's really going to miss Phoenix after he gets a taste of losing basketball and the NY media.

I am sure he hired Shane Battier to write that piece for him.

I prefer LeBron's method of embarrassing a franchise that gave the best player in the world nothing to work with in 7 years.

...Except a supporting cast capable of helping win 60+ games for 2 years in a row. Basketball is a team sport buddy.

That was a nice gesture by Amare. I wish him well in NY, at least individually. I want those Knicks picks to still be worth something, so I hope he doesn't lead them to many wins.

Way to do the right thing Amare... only if Lebron did it different... unless he still goes to miami then yes everyone but kids and miami fans hate that he went there

Took the high road after seeing the missteps of others, that hindsight is great, but I respect the sentiment nonetheless.

If James Earl Jones had read that live with lasers and fireworks going off in the background it would have been much better.
