Wow AMare gets calls all day. Maybe he's quick and has good position seems like he travels a lot. I really am not that impressed by him maybe he's tired.

Yao never gets calls..maybe he's too slow to do moves. But damn Amare gets so many calls..even Tmac isn't getting some calls...Yao may be too big and just gets pushed around. They can easily place some attention on him and stop him. Dikembe is a surprise.

    We should research this!

Nice to see the Refs licking up AMare's you-know-what tonight.

Amare is known as a more aggressive and quicker player than Yao. Those two characteristics are the reason Amare gets more calls.

yeah nice to see you agree.

I mean they foul us like crazy and refs don't blow a whistle. It's pretty funny cuz I remember like last season I thought that the Suns were bribing the refs cuz it was so unfair. And sorta same for this game too lol.

Like Mo attacking the basket and drawing contact from Hunte rand missing the shot..but I thought it deserved a blocking foul...

And when the refs think Nash wants to give a foul with 2.6 seconds left on Sura, tehy call it and Nash complains and implies that he didn't want to give that foul. lol

That was funny when McGrady just stood there when everyone took off after his 2nd free throw when he still had one more to shoot. :)

That was his first trip to the line. DId you see when he drove baseline from the Phoenix bench and was pushed by 3 guys and had to pass the ball out to Wesley who passed to Sura which led to nothing..
    Sigh.

Hmm how about the nocall where Mcgrady drives in and everyone falls onto each other...and the ball goes out of bounds and it should be our ball and they say it's theirs lol.

    I'll stop complaining.

Yao would get Amare's type of calls if he were as aggressive as Amare. He's mentally soft, and that's something we have to live with.

Tmac has to step it up and shoot better for this team to have a chance.

I don't buy this argument. Many times when Yao shows some aggression, he gets called for offensive fouls. The guy just can't win either way. There's obvious a pretty serious double standard when it comes to officiating Yao.

Clearly refs are sucking up Amare's a$$.

Any time he moves towards the basket, any sort of bump sends him to FT line. But when Yao moves to the basket, he gets elbowed on the back or slammed on his arms, yet he still get no call.

....against the upper echelon teams like Phoenix

Just hard to finish that off for you

Anyway it is pleasing to see that Yao defends Amare very well. It is safe to say that he shut down Amare tonight. Yao's defense is often erroneously underrated. A good game in all. It is hard to beat them when they have an "on night". I believe they have peaked while we are still ascending to greatness and consistency.

I take my hat off as a sign of repect to them. Tomorrow is another day.

No offense, but women shouldn't be allowed to officiate a NBA game. Her being there is just political.
