I know he is a punk, but this guy has improved a ton on the offensive end. He might be the most ungaurdable pf playing. He is just too quick for most 4's, and if they play off him he can hit the J, and if you foul him he will hit his FTs. I sure hope we don't see them in the playoffs.

the word unguardable is right. his skills on the defensive end may need some work, but on the other side of the court, even kevin garnett and tim duncan can't take him out of his game. playing with nash will definitely aids him, but i wouldn't argue (as i have heard some do) that he would be less dominating without nash. he can definitely create his own shot - as the op pointed out, he can take the ball in the post, face up his defender, and then just drive past them.

His offense is good but hes a blackhole. He's also lucky to have Nash feeding him alley oops all day and Shaq taking double teams giving him freedom to do whatever he wants. Don't forget to mention he sucks at defense. He's too skinny and would get owned by any of the elite PFs (Garnett, Duncan, Brand, Boozer, Nowitzki).

I think he's the best offensive big in the game. Spectacular combination of athleticism and shooting touch. He'll be absolutely unstoppable if he develops some more sophisticated low post moves, though he hardly needs it.

Amare is the reason I've changed my mind about the Suns. They are definitely a Finals contender.

His lack of a true back-to-the-basket game is being washed by his quick first step and improved shooting. Add to the fact that Steve Nash gets him the ball in positions to score. He might be less dominating without Nash and Shaq but he'll still be able to put up 20-22ppg. His defense is still atrocious, but now with Shaq in there he doesn't have to guard the best big and he won't pick up fouls so often now.

amare and barbosa is the only future the suns have, and i'm kind of hoping nash and shaq retires quicker, cause it'd be interesting how those two can play, without a great pg and a big center. amare is alot better playing at pf, cause he's quicker than most centers and pfs.

but he does get lot of touch calls. he is already getting the superstar treatment.

Amare has improved in his jumpshot, now he can easily knock down 15 footers. And he is still so quick and athletic whan makes his simply unstopable.

He needs to be more motivated rebounding the ball on both ends. Also he has to stop making dumb fouls.

Amare is the best offensive big man in the game right now. With his improved FT shooting he has almost no weaknesses on offense.

I've noticed he can drive left now. That makes him pretty damn scary.

Now that Amare is playing his natural position he has become unstoppable. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone as explosive as him going to the bucket. Sometimes he jumps from places, almost standing still and it looks like he can only lay it up from that location, but he ends up jamming the ball with authority. He has a soft touch on his jumper and makes his free throws. This guy is dangerous - I don't want any part of the Suns.

I hope the Suns lose, I'm not a fan of Shaq at all, but just from a non-biased perspective, Amare has turned into a beast and there is a part of me who wishes we would have drafted him when we had the opportunity. And for the poster who said Amare is "skinny". What?? Skinny? KG is skinny. Amare is ripped - He's a physical specimen.

Dude does have skills on the offensive end. If he develops a few post moves down low then look out. I wouldn't mind seeing him add a little mass as he tends to get overpowered by big PFs and Cs but I would imagine that is not going to happen due to the knee issues.

Bottom line is someone that quick and explosive who can hit midrange shots consistently is going to get big numbers on most nights.

I still like Boozer better however due to Boozer's strength but Amare will probably be much better in another 2-3 years while Boozer appears to be about as good as he will ever be.

I don't think amare's game is playing in the low post. He does something very well he should stick to it. In that picture yao makes look amare look like a kid. If I were to block a 5th graders shot that is how it would look.

amare has improved his offensive games noticeably each and every year. dude works hard. gotta give him that, though his personality isn't my favorite.

with his athletic ability, why he doesn't grab more rebounds and play better defense is still a myth to me, though.
