http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3921500 The day after deciding to let the trade deadline pass without making a major money-saving move has turned incredibly costly for the beleaguered Phoenix Suns. The Suns announced Friday that Amare Stoudemire was forced to undergo eye surgery to repair a partially detached retina suffered in a Wednesday night rout of the Los Angeles Clippers. It is Stoudemire's second eye injury since October and it's expected the All-Star forward will miss the rest of the regular season. Stoudemire's return to physical activity has been estimated at eight weeks by the Suns. He underwent surgery Friday morning, although the club said in a statement that "recovery varies on a case-by-case basis."
Let's see, the Clippers knocked Yao out for a season, they've knocked Amare out. Any other players who have seen their season end at the hands of these guys?
1) His name is Amare 2) How is this related to the Rockets 3) This is already posted 4) In before the lock
wow thats terrible thats just a case of bad luck and bad timing.... just when the suns were becoming fun to watch again. well i guess that seals their playoff spot looks like its going to be 8 teams set in stone now.
To be clear Suns: Stoudemire could miss 8 weeks http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3921500 I think there goes our secured playoff spot ~!~
Wow. They probably wouldn't have fired Porter if they knew they wouldn't have Amare for the rest of the year. That run and gun style isn't as useful without Amare.
