i saw this title on espn insider, could be a good read. anyone thats an insider please post it here.thanx
The link on ESPN says "Rumors: Amare wants to be Artest". What made you think it was Damon. Plus, their last names are spelled differently even if Stoudemire was in the title.
Yeah, I thought that number sounded extremely extreme. I remember reading that if you do a lot of cardio with less than like 6% or something, your body will burn off its own muscle for energy*. 2%, even if it was enough to sustain life (which as you were getting at, I doubt) does not seem like something that would fly for almost any pro athlete, but especially a bball player... Also, he has a LOOOOOONG way to go if he ever wants to be recognized as anything close to Ron Artest on defense. Amare is an absolutely terrible defender right now, and honestly, I don't think he has it in him to become an elite defender. * could be horrible misinformation, but I remember reading something along those lines.
For men, 2-4% body fat is essential, 6-13% is an athletic body fat range, 14-17% is considered a 'fit' range, and 18-25% is acceptable. eh amare was always more of a talker.
If he says 2% it should be anywhere from 2.2 to 2.9 2.1 is the minimum, which is basically impossible for a guy of Amare's height. ^ thats 2% body fat
I'd believe that. He is one on the skinniest fully grown men (if he is indeed fully grown) that I've ever seen, especially for someone so short aswell.
