    Amare is every bit as soft as Pau is on the defensive end. And Pau is every bit as effective as Amare on the offensive end. Amare needs to shut time until when (or if) he wins a championship. You can't talk trash when your team's record is below 500.

    Last I checked, Amare has consistently played on one of the fastest paced teams in the league, yet has never posted a double digit rebounding average for a season. He's never been an impact defensive player. I don't really see how he's in a position to talk.

    Amare is just mad bcuz pau has 2 rings and he doesnt. Hes also mad that ny made a trade for melo, dnt be surprised if amare demands a trade this up coming season... Rockets would truly be players in a type of deal... Him at the C and scola at the 4 would be awesome.

    The Pau Gasol that played against Garnett in last year's finals was a much better defender than Amare.

    I always think Gasol has great defensive footwork and the height to boot. The problem is his willingness to sacrifice his body.

    Amare on the other hand, is just incredibly soft, thunderous dunks notwithstanding.
