Glad the Rockets did not get him...we don't need another injury prone star player who thinks he is a superstar.

I heard its just another minor surgery. I wouldn't call him injury prone over his eye. Goggles would do the job

This surgery is planned from the first surgery, no big deal. That's why he says "Finish".

Then use the microfracture on his surgically repaired knee that caused him to miss nearly 2 years as the injury prone part.

    :D

Michael Jordan missed almost his entire entire 2nd season because of a broken foot.

You cannot give up on every players after one injury (knee), and eye injuries are so incredibly flukish, it is silly to consider those "deal-breakers".

What two years did he miss with a knee injury?

He played 80 games in 04-05, 3 games in 05-06, and 82 games in 06-07.

Id actually be more willing to trade for him now. If he misses alot of the season we could start 2010 with Yao/Amare and a lottery pick as well as our stellar assortment of role players.

you cant really compare anyone to Micheal he was like a basketball God, he could pretty much do anything he wanted....that includes winning three championships, leaving for two years(thanks btw micheal :D )and come back for three more......he should of retired after that last one and not comeback....and no one would argue that he was greatest....

What if he doesn't recovery? Then you have him on the books hindering your cap space that's assuming he signs an extension and we did get him.

Amare has proven to be over his injuries especially his knee. The Rockets should get him if possible. I have no worries about him besides his game is not just dunking the ball. Amare can hit the elbow jumpers which I believe will be good in RA's system.

Just keep him away from Bill Cartwright's elbow and he'll be fine

It's a follow-up surgery to his first one. No big deal. It's been planned.

Regardless, the 3 team deal is completely fabricated. There is no truth to it whatsoever. Phoenix is meeting with Amar'e again to discusss the future.

Don't quite understand what you're saying here? Are you referring to McGrady? He didn't have to second-guess his status as one of the elite players in the league. "Thinks he is a superstar." I'm pretty sure leading the league twice in scoring and making seven trips to the All-Star game qualifies you as a superstar. Atleast in my book.
