yeh, he's in a zone. but you're not basing your rebounding statistics on anything other than one game. he's averaging over 9 per game. that's not bad at all. yao's around 8, which isn't bad but could definately be better.. sorry about the earlier wording...don't wanna use it as an excuse, but just havin a really bad day.
I think he'll have a shot at leading the league in scoring. He's just so efficient on offense. Scoring 38 points on only 22 shots is amazing.
Really? Can Yao run on the court like Amare? Can he catch the pass from Nash through traffic? How many times have we seen him fumble the pass from T-Mac already? Moreover, can he match Amare's aggressiveness around the basket? BTW, Amare has definitely improved his outside shooting this summer. He is a different player now. This season could be his breakout year.
He don't even have to do all that for Yao, as long as he can penetrate and drop a pass to Yao when he is being fronted.
Amare could indeed lead the league in scoring one day. This guy is really a monster now. Players are just scared of him. He still has major holes in his game, but he's getting better every day.
Amare's similar to a young Hakeem, with slightly less quickness... Athletic beast, good touch around the basket, a little bit selfish, limited post up game... He isn't totally comfortable with his back to the basket yet. He'll be a good one.
Amare, Lebron, Shaq, Gerald Wallace and Kobe are easily the best (or rather amongt the best) finishers in the NBA. When any of those guys are around the bucket YOU KNOW the ball is going down. They leave no stone unturned anywhere near the ring. I love it. More power to you Amare (nonetheless you are still a tool and a punk!)
Amare is so lucky he has Nash. Nash is so good at making players around him better. He's turning the suns from being a joke last year to contenders this year. Yao would be putting up the same or even better numbers if he played with Nash, since Nash is the best playmaker in the league.
Amare was good before Nash came to town and Nash did not make A Walker better in Dallas. This guy is having 28 ppg 9 rpg 2bg and 57%FG season and much better than Yao's in every catergories this year.
good thing i got him on my fantasy team. also snagged wade. and dirk has been big so far as well. basically, i'm a genius.
Get Artest and JO, I heard they can be had for real cheap right now. Ben Wallace is also a pretty good pickup.
