I just watch the game on Tivo tonight, and I can't believe no ones making a big deal about this. When the Jailblazer got the ball at 2.1 the clock started and then froze at 1.7 for at least 9 tenths of a second and then started again.

I watched it at least 5 times and started screaming at the TV more and more every time, then I watch the post game and they don’t mention it. So then I was like Ok Ill go to clutchcity I know someone there saw it, and no one here picked up on it either.

I understand we won and this is not game 7 of a playoff series, but in the NBA every game is important, It could be the difference between Playoffs or no Playoffs, Home court or no Home court.

Ok frustration has been let out. Carry on. ;)

Several people mentioned that it felt like a very long 2.whatever seconds.. well maybe there's a reason it felt long.. BECAUSE IT WAS LONG! We've been scammed! but anyway we won, we beat the system, david stern had us a mark in the loss column but we beat the system and won.. oh how i love this team.

I noticed it as well. Since Stoudamire missed the shot it was a moot point. However, if he would've hit that shot, there was be atleast half a dozen threads about the clock being stuck.

Clutch mentioned it in the game thread. Indeed that 2.1 or 2.7 seconds seemed like 5 seconds. I believe if the shot went down it would have been reviewed but since it did not the refs let it go.

Gosh that was some scary last few seconds.

Nothing will ever beat Gene screaming in Utah, "They didn't start the clock! They didn't start the clock! They didn't start the clock!" ("Something's got to give here!" -Foley) "It doesn't matter--we got it anyway!"

If you were relying on the radio, you had no idea what the heck was happening.

It's a cable box that digitaly records all your favorite shows whenever you like. You can also pause and rewind live TV.

I have TW Cable and paid and extra 7 dollars for their version of DVR. It's the same thing. You can record around 200 hours of TV. It's by far the best investment i've made in sometime, and that's not saying alot. :(

ReplayTV (different brand from TiVo, but they are both Digital Video Recorders or DVRs) totally changed the way I watch TV. It is like a VCR on steroids in that it records your shows, but since it is using a hard drive (random access media rather than the linear media of videotape), you have far more flexibility. For example, you can start watching your show while it is still being recorded (impossible with tape). In fact, I prefer to start watching shows after they are about 1/3 of the way in so that I can skip the commercials. The box gives you a guide much like the onscreen guide you probably have with your cable or satellite box, making it much easier to program your recordings than even the easiest VCR.

I can watch a regular 1 hour show in about 42 minutes, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" in 30 minutes (I don't care about the person's bio, I just want to see the questions), or an entire football game (every single play) in about 45 minutes.

I highly recommend the DVRs. I prefer the ReplayTV (we have a Replay and a TiVo) because of the Quick Skip button (30 second advance), but the TiVo is nice too.

Do you have cable or satellite?

Don't forget to mention that that skip function is only on the older units and was removed from Tivo and newer RPTV units. Luckily we have those units in our home as I've become spoiled at not having to watch commericals.

Putting 42 seconds on the shot clock was pretty cool, too.

    guys,

I was being facetious. I know what Tivo is. And if I didn't, I could google it.

Only possible explanation for clock tampering at a home game. A grand jury should be empaneled to investigate.;)

you know they messed up on the shot clock earlier (when it should have gone off on a TB out of bounds play - they got it with one second)
