    Lock it have posted
Many times when Scola got a high score more than 20,Rockets trend to lose the game, while Scola score a low point,we win more, which seems funny. But is true,we all know we have enough weapons,Yao T-Mac Artest, they all can get point easily.Maybe sometimes we should let him do less, just like game vs Celtics,Yao played like a rookie,he isnt give us much help

are you going to blame scola for chinese lover's missed dunk and turnovers too? you're really a joke trying to shift the blame on scola..u could have said that scola can't rebound or gets blocked cuz he's not as athletic as the celtic players but this? lol..don't think you're watching games..the rockets got outrebounded but it wasn't like yao, hayes, landry or artest or scola could get the rebounds today. it seemed that the celtics players were much more athletic

Scola played great last night. I'd love it if altitude were part of his game, as much so as his attitude ;) . Scola gets after it.

it's good to know that scola can step up his game when some of our superstars are having an off night.

This is the reason why we tend to lose when Scola scores alot of points. Because the players who usually score are not doing so. When our superstars play bad then obviously we will less likely win. Scola is just trying to makeup for other players who don't play well that night. That's what makes him a keeper.

oddly enough, i share the same sentiment. It seems that whenever scola plays big, it meant the superstars are not playing well. In this game, all of rox big 3 did not play well.

    Yao- Just bad.....
Tmac- Great on offense, non existence on defense.
Artest- Great on defense, stop chucking the ball when you are cold....

We used to have the same issue with Juwan Howard. Whenever he lead the team in scoring, we had an awful record because it meant the stars had bad games.

Fiction: when Scola scores points the Rockets always lose.

Fact: when Scola scores 20+ the Rockets are 3-6

When he scores 18+ the Rockets are 7-7.

We don't "always lose" when he scores points - granted it's 50% win record, but part of that might be that his first 3 20 point games came last season when McGrady was out injured.

Sample size is probably a bit small to draw any conclusions - but you can't say "tell him not to score and we'll win" - that's ridiculous!
