So my Sixaxis finally ****ted on me this afternoon. The whole right side was non-responsive, plus Sony makes bad analog sticks. I'm not a big fan of the 360 (obvious) but I like their controller design. Is there anyway to mod it or get one to work through USB on the PS3? I really don't feel like spending $50 on a dualshock that I know in 3 months will have those ****ty analog sticks that are going to get stuck. Unless someone can confirm that the analog sticks on the DS3 are more durable than on the SUXAXIS.... Note. COD4 Sprinting (L3) ruins controllers.
I thought so as well, but a good majority of people who play COD4 on PS3 say their controllers are getting messed up. Mine started off with squeaky analog sticks. I'm starting to think that the left analog stick wasn't designed to be held down while moving it forward. My dualshock 2's from my PS2 still work... and those went through hell..
Seriously? Maybe I unfortunately got a bad one Add me on PSN, I'll accept as soon as I get a new controller, unfortunately that was my only one.
My controller didn't even charge. So I'm sure it's not just you. But I disagree, I like the controller's design a lot more than the XBox360's. The sticks always gets stuck... I just deal with it. You just slam that stick real hard to any direction... you get it stuck.
haha, maybe Hey you once posted a thread about being drunk and playing Rockband... Anyone want to buy that piece of **** Rockband from me? I got the whole set and I don't like it, nor play it.
I got the Best Buy 2yr warranty. Even if it doesn't die I take it back before the warranty for good measure. I assume it overs all 4 controllers I own, how can they tell which is which? Hastings sells used 6axis controllers for 19.99, that was before dualshock 3 came out. So maybe less now.
