Alston showed up late...

    I was reading the post game recap from ESPN.com and i read that Alston showed up late for tonights game...thats not good news at all if true and there is not a proper excuse. has anyone heard about this or know the explanation for it?

    He couldn't have shown up too late because he made some comments about Mitchell.

    ESPN is wrong on this one. I read those comments somewhere else a couple days before the game.

    Not good, hope he had a good reason for it or that JVG didn't mind...

    JVG? Nah, he's not a big "details" guy. I'm sure he was fine with it! After all, it's not like his team is in the middle of a crucial stretch of games or anything or that Alston might need a little extra work.

    Hey, maybe Rafer had a legit excuse. But I bet JVG wasn't pleased either way.

    That is wrong, Bill and Matt said when they (the Rockets) got to the arena that Rafer had several news people there to ask him about his return to Toronto, then on top of all that did a interview with Bill and Matt. So my guess if anything happened he spent too much time interviewing and was late getting back to locker room for pre-game meeting.......

    which might explain Mike James' game tonight, since it was obvious rafer missed the part of JVG's speech that he had to actual guard him...
