Awesomeness This shows the T-Mac in Orlando legion of fans here that he really didn't mean that much to them. They won't retire his number. Shaq will get his retired for Orlando cause he did something for them.
Orlando absolutely hated T-Mac anyways. So did the Raptors, and now we're starting to hate him. He will never get his jersey retired anywhere, ever.
They had to choose something else other than #12 that he was wearing as a Rocket since Dwight Howard is wearing that number. I can say that the T-Mac fiasco that is currently going on here with the Rockets has only been making most Orlando Magic fans forget about getting hardly nothing in return for T-Mac in that trade over four and a half years ago.

just fyi, guys like ariza and bogans (?), christie? have all worn #1 after tmac has left..it's not anything common.
I disagree, they got the valuable cap space and landed Turk and Lewis later on. Just imagine if Rox have Turk and Lewis instead of Tmac right now. How scary that team would be.
