No, I don't agree with you, man. Shane is pretty good but we have already got ron artest to play the 3, ron is so strong that it's talent-wasting to limit his game time to 38 mins, then shane would have no more than 10mins per game. Maybe ron can switch his position to 4or 2 for some time, but, the problem is that he's too slow to play 2 and he's too undersized to play four. Ron is birth to play 3 while shane is not able to play no other position that 3, then shane would not have enough game time he deserves. Losing battier is bad but morey may do taht if he can upgrade our talent. Battier is good at defense and shooting 3, but he's not able to bring us enough help when all the lineups suck. Battier plus rafer means 10m dollars, which is equal to a star-level roster like Billups. Billups is gonna help denver a lot but I think denver needs defense more than billups, and shane is just the guy who can bring them great defense. I bet Carl has no reason to refuse such a trade offer. Rafer is not as good as billups but still enough to run the nuggets team. I've never doubted rafer's ability but I just don't think he's good enough to point a great team like rockets, maybe denver fits him a little bit more. Billups is "coach on court", a general who can control the game. We just need such a guy like him, aron brooks can shoot but can't pass while rafer can pass but not able to shoot. Billups can do both. More importantly, chauncy has a championship ring. It's true that barry also has championship ring in two, but brent isn't gonna play an as important role as billups. bilups' final experiences are gonna be helpful for his team, but denver doesn't hope any hope to break into the finals. Billups is gonna choose rockets rather than nuggets.
