There are major differences in their games IMO KPJ is the more natural facilitator, still not a PG......a better set shooter, has more meat on the bones. Green is much more athletic leaper and scorer, a better midrange guy and slasher, horrible defender. They are both growing to be 6'5- 6'6. I think what he meant is there can only be ONE head honcho in the backcourt.
Kelly Iko still trying to push the "he doesn't play defense" narrative, but the expert scout spitting facts. And then Kelly Iko kind of going along. Yet, Kelly Iko still wants to do this:
Someone said the interviewer was like the Turkish Rob Lowe or Zach Lowe don't remember. International translators do your thing. I'll play you with 1 like. Don't spend it all.
I'm almost certain every team has tried what you're saying and the dude still avg a 30pt triple double. If the Celtics had played Williams more, they win that series vs playing Horford. Joker is like a modern day Tim Duncan offensively.
Good to see Alpie manifest his destiny in his mind. Practice makes perfect and in order for this team to take the next step and for his most ardent fans to be rewarded for spotting his star qualities early he needs to be about it and not just talk about it. He needs to go be THAT GUY and stop shrinking vs good players/defenses and inflict his will. His ability to draw out his defender and be a threat to shoot is even more important for the guys around him. We'll see how Udoka views team building pretty early I imagine. Not sure between the leg turnovers are going to be smiled away as easily as they were during the Silas era. Good to hear Sengun want to be held accountable so lets see it in action!
