perhaps has to appeal to his fanbase... theres prolly a lot of sengun haters there...clicks rules the world
I am re-posting my post from the other thread, since you did the same. I just took your same link and sorted it for forwards and guards instead. Guards: Forwards: Defensive Rating of the starters: Net Rating of the starters: Takeaways: Your data does NOT prove that Sengun is one of the worst defensive centers in the league. It does show (which is no surprise) that the Rockets as a team are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Of the starters, Sengun doesn't even have the worst defensive rating. That honor belongs to KPJ. Other than Eric Gordon who by some distance has the best defensive rating of the starters, the defensive ratings of the four young guys are almost equally bad, and that includes "defensive specialist" Jabari Smith, who has the nerve to demand one of his fellow players be taken out. Gordon and Sengun clearly have the best net rating of the starters. Sengun has by far the best net rating of the four young starters. His superior offensive contribution outweighs the tiny difference compared to Green and Jabari in terms of defensive rating. Jabari Smith has the worst net rating. This shows in black and white that our entire young group of starters - and not just Sengun, which is what you suggest - is at the bottom of the league in defensive rating. It's in black and white. Even if you think this stat is flawed, or that Silas is a shitty coach (which I do), the numbers are the numbers.
P.S.: Alpi has way lower usage and possession time than the other starters, even compared to Jabari. The "head honcho" is no. 11 in the entire league in time of possession. So if you want to blame someone, blame the coach and the "head honcho".
smh people never learn...alpi was always the analytics darling, was before the draft, stayed that way his entire time here...
And Eric Gordon having the best defensive rating does not say he is the better defender in the starting lineup. The better defenders in the squad are Eason and Garuba. Gordon took more minutes with them and that is why his rating is better. Sengun takes less minutes with them and has worse rating. But all the starters have similar ratings because they are in the most used line-up. Nba listing these numbers as personal stats is a disaster.
right now its just stating the obvious and im sure next head coach will get 'involve Sengun more' as one of the objectives
So yall SOFs gonna be happy, in the future when, Sengun gives Silas credit for his progression into an expected top 5 player in NBA history right?
His projection for this season was 18/12/6 per 32.The only thing missing is assists Next season will be 22 points / 12 to 14 rebs/ 6 to 8 assists per 32. Teach his teammates how to cut and force him to assist more. That's all.
It's not trolling! Some of us like to check in on this thread from time to time just to see who's still masturbating to Sengun highlights.
dude its a basketball forum of course we love to see highlights from one of the players that is a walking highlight, and why the insulting metaphor ? your parents must be proud of you, say i sad hi to them, they did a great job raising you...
