Bosh is brainwashed that he can only win by joining a big time sg,(lebron, wade, kobe). You obviously have the Bosh for Bynum rumors, now this >

    http://larrybrownsports.com/basketb...recruiting-chris-bosh-free-agent-summit/20641

At the same time the Miami Heat staff was busy throwing free agent Udonis Haslem a surprise birthday party to try and convince him to stay in Miami, it appears as if Dwyane Wade was busy doing some recruiting of his own. Wade was spotted dining at BOA Steakhouse on Sunset along with girlfriend Gabrielle Union, Raptors free agent to be Chris Bosh, and a few others as part of a small late-night gathering at the restaurant. Normally we wouldn’t think anything of a few All-Star NBA players getting together for dinner, but this isn’t your typical set of circumstances.

Bosh is gone. I dont want Morey to spend so much time on Bosh, that he blows his chance for an Amare or Granger. I think we should start a amare2rockets.com

Whats the best plan B ? This is a poll question.

Please No Al Jefferson I just have this big feeling that if he came to Houston he would balloon to a very big baby size. Happens all the time when a free agent comes to Houston.. Maybe it's the result of more Restaurants per Capita that New York City.. Or the excessive heat causing them to be lazy and stay indoor and do nothing except eat...

Then I'd welcome Brand to Houston along with the #2, and Speights. Send Philly a re-signed Lowry, along with Jeffries and Andersen.

Then trade #2 (Turner) to Minny for #4 and rights to Rubio.

Then trade #4 and 14 to GS for #6 and Anthony Randolph (Lamar stopper).

Draft Wes Johnson at #6. Then hold onto the 2011 pick swap, Shane's expiring, and Trevor Ariza for a big trade at the deadline. Sign Conroy to replace Lowry. Sign Shaq to b/u Yao.

    Boom shaka laka.

    Brooks/Conroy/Rubio(2011)
    Martin/Chase
    Wesley Johnson/Anthony Randolph
    Yao/Shaq/Chuck/Speights
    Scola/Brand/Hill

    ^^^

That actually sounds like something Morey would do.

JoPat- I don't see Morey going all "Mouse Trap" but I do think that we have to move away from going for Bosh. I don't think we have a real shot at him. Its time to. I would probably pay Amare 16 Mil if I had the chance, but now more. (Not feasible). I really think we need to devote any assets we had allocated for a S&T into moving up in the draft. If we get a top 4-8 pick we can get a shot at a player with really high potential and a guy that will probably be able to pitch in a bit next year.

I really want Cousins, Favors or Monroe should be targets IMO. If we stay at #14, I would look at the wings at that point (George, Babbit, Henry).

I would love to have Danny Granger or Greg Monroe.

just a side note, my cousin Trevon Flores played ball with Greg Monroe at Helen Cox.

I saw Yao telling Wade at dinner to eat the head at a Chinese restaurant on tv.

    Yao must be recruiting Wade.

    Plan B is Wade.

I have a feeling that when Morey pulls the rabbit out of the hat it will be something we NEVER expected.

The perfect plan B is to first forget about Bosh then:
    1. Do a s&t with Atlanta with Ariza + Jeffries and future pick for J. Johnson and #24 pick.

    2. Send Hill + future pick and maybe cash(or #14) to G. State for Randolph and #6 pick

    3. Send Brooks + future pick to Memphis for the #12 pick

    4. Send Bud + future pick and cash to Minny for the #16 pick

    5. Sign Shaq.

    6. Draft Cousins, Monroe or Henry with the #6, Paul George or Henry with the #12, if we still have 14 and miss out on a big with #6, draft Whiteside at 14, now we could use 16 on Motiejunas to leave overseas or if we still need a big go for Whiteside, Alabi, Orton, with the #24 you quickly grab Mikhail Torrance before someone else gets him. He will go before 30, trust me.
I don't think anyone can do better than this, no matter how dreamy it is! :p
Lowry/Torrance/(also try to get Vasquez as a 3rd option)
    J. Johnson/Henry/ George?
    Battier/George
    Scola/Randolph/Whiteside?
    Yao/Shaq/Whiteside
    Talk about championship basketball!! ;)

I still like this option. Turner's potential has to outweight Brand's contract surely

If Philly is rebuilding, they aren't going to trade the #2 draft pick. It would be like OKC Thunder trading the #2 draft pick(Durant) in 2008 to the Rockets to start their rebuilding plan. The point of rebuilding is to acquire young talent, not trade it away.

I'm still hoping for Danny Granger.

He's really good offensively and actually plays defense!
