After the Rockets two previous lackluster performances(and lackluster is being kind), the Rockets came out and for the most part played pretty hard and stood toe-for-toe and went blow for blow with one of the best teams in the league. Heck, the Rockets outrebounded the Spurs, mainly on the back of good rebounding(but poor shooting) games by Olajuwon and Taylor. I am dissapointed by the loss, but I am glad that the play we saw against Miami and LA is hopefully gone. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.
The Rockets always play well on the road. They always suck at home... I'm wondering why the Rockets don't come out with more intensity at home. I mean, when you generally have a losing record at home, that means you should be playing hard cuz history says you have a greater chance of losing than winning. There must be some different approach that they're taking. If you always lose at home, there SHOULD be a sense of urgency. When they're at home, there are a lot of distractions... maybe they should prevent them from happening. ------------------ PrEsident of The Danforth Langhford FAN CLUB... Maybe they just play better when people cheer against them. Next game at home, maybe we should all cheer for the road team, to spur the Rockets on to the win. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.
LOL ------------------ Charles Barkley on TBS on the "fat track" poll: "What? 47% said I'd gain more.....why those.....they better be glad this is a family show."
I thought I'd bring this thread back because after two straight whoopin's over good teams, the Rockets seem to have recovered from the funk that temporarily beset them. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe.
