If true, wouldn't his bankruptcy garnered more news by now? (Almost 2 full years later)

Eh, it's not that bad, it's just signed memorabilia not his "actual" stuff, i.e TV, home, etc....

If he is broke, he needs to stay his ass in Turkey for 330 days in the calendar year to cut down on his income tax exposure. Of course it only applies to the first 94k or so, unless he can prove bonafide residency there. Every little bit counts if he's really broke.

    how the mighty have fallen.

must really irk him to list his own jersey at $600, and Rasheed Wallace's at $1200. (and Michael Jordans baseball jersey at $18,000!).

Why do you say this? Do you know something about his lifestyle that would cause this to be?

Aside from Jordan, I'd be curious which player has increased their fortune the most after retirement. Candidates: Hakeem, Barkley, Magic?

he just got a new Harmon-Kardon AVR-357 Stereotyping System, he had worn out the previous 45 units he has already used this year. Posting takes its toll.

I'm sure there are quite a few. You don't hear about the smart ones as they don't make good headlines.

Not quite, Steevie has a few successful endeavorers.

AI has a massive gambling and alcohol problem which has lead to this inevitable down fall.

I think Steve invested in a number of different businesses and was a successful business person. I'm sure he does have personal problems, but I wouldn't think finance was his weakness.
