Okay gang..out of 20+ topics on the BBS, there is not one single positive issue to discuss today...so let's get it out of us to enjoy the break and come back strong.

The second season starts on Tuesday where we can make up for all the bad stuff happening. We really can start anew and come out strong. Here are a couple positives:

-Yao Ming is progressing nicely. He shows talents that other teams would dream of having in the future

-We are better than last year no matter what is said. This team is far better and more competitive

-Mo Taylor is starting to heat up

-Posey is a nice addition to this team

    -Cato is productive

    -above .500 after the break

-granted losing to losers sucks...but at least we beat some good teams and win at home.

-out of the 9 sub.500 losses, if we had won 3-5 of those, we would not be complaining as badly. So, in the second half, let's hope to beat up on those teams this time around

    Excellent thoughts Montgo!! :) :)

I completely agree, there are alot of positives so far but also alot of negatives. I have seen progress and mistakes but the mistakes are neccessary for the progress to continue.

I do not cater to the "sky is falling" type of thinking nor have I given up. This team is doing better than I thought. I did not consider this the year to contend, I felt it was the year to step toward the playoffs ( which I think we will get to THIS year). Next year is the year to make some noise.

Except for Yao, there are zero positives for this team...

Zero positives, except for the fact that the Rockets are the 2nd youngest team in the league, have undergone tremendous personnel changes this season, yet are still 4 games above .500 at the All-star break.

It's also not a positive at all that the Rockets are undefeated in four games against Sacramento and the Lakers this year. Who cares that teams like Dallas haven't been able to beat the Kings this year, even with Webber out. It's people like A-Train who don't understand that a victory against a playoff-caliber team is much more important than a loss against a sub-.500 team. The Rockets match up well with plenty of top playoff teams and it's just a matter of time before they start to gel.

We have seen glimpses of what's to come, and we have a very talented starting lineup at all 5 positions.

    Seriously, please stop crying.

there are a few more positives. for example, the rockets know eddie griffin is not a rebounder nor defender, posey is not a shooter, mobley won't pass the ball and the bench is thin. their decisions will be easy in the off season.
