    Chicago picks Elon Musk's Boring Company to construct a high-speed tunnel from downtown to airport

    For Chicagoans, the current commute takes ~ 1 hr by car, ~ 40 min by train. With the tunnel, it'll take ~ 12 min. all this at no cost to Chicago taxpayers,
    as Musk's. co will pay for it. once operational, Musk will collect the revenue over time to cover its cost, after which, revenue will be shared.

    a similar project for LA is in the planning stage.

    Probably would fill up with water if you tried it in Houston.

    But, hey, so long as the financial risks are borne by investors and not taxpayers, I'm game.
