With the way the Rockets are playing right now, anyone worried we could go cold given the break the Nba players get?

When a team is red hot like this a break could freeze us!

just the opposite, we are cold now, all-star break will warm the fire within. T-Mac and Yao will come back revolutionized! Who knows?

Honestly think a break would be good for some of our aging players. I think players like sura are going to love and maybe need a break since he's playing in pain. I really don't know how long a person can function when they are constantly consuming pain killers.

Screw the all star game. I would rather have the whole team rest during the break.

I don't think it matters. Even if the break kills our momentum and we come out cold after it, there's plenty of time to get back on track. This is just midseason... it's not like we're coming back after a week off and starting the playoffs.

Meanwhile, these creaky old men probably need the time off.

    All Star break = good.

The team has played as if already on break, or badly needing it. We build up good leads and then coast, barely winning. Time to recharge the batteries.

And time, too, to get Tmac some rest on the court by getting him some help (*cough* Derek *cough* Anderson!)

It could be bad but we're an older team so it will be good to get some of them some needed rest. This last couple of games we've given up some big leads that makes you think we could be getting tired...

Hopefully this will give Strickland some time to go work on his jumper... 19.4 FG%??? damn...

Even though it stops (or slows down) our momentum, the players NEED the rest. T-mac and Sura will benifit from the rest the most but the other guys need to get their bodies healed up and ready to go for the rest of the season. And i am praying that it gives Rod Strickland the time he needs to get even a decent jumpshot back.

All star is fun for Yao & TMac. I think it can give them both a good fun feeling that will take them through the rest of the season.

we come back against the sonics and spurs anyway...it's not like our streak would last past that. if we split those games i will be happy.

all the old guys on the team can use a rest, plus the injured guys like sura and tmac can get healthier....yao can sleep a little...overall we will come back with more fire than we saw last night against portland.
