While I am still debating (at this very last minute) whether or not to head down for the game, I'm completely tossed up. Airfare and hotel is no problem (I could actually stay with people, but it's probably easier to just book a room), nor is getting the ticket...sort of. I have found a handful of Standing Room only tickets for around $200-$300 which to me is a good deal to see the game (if I get to the stadium early enough for a view). The only problem is whether there is a difference between Standing Room Only and Standing Room Only - In Hand. What does 'in hand' mean? I assume it's the same thing as any other SRO ticket, but I could be wrong. And if I do choose to head down, is the light rail a good idea say, from the med center to downtown? Will it run more/longer hours during next week? Any other info I might want to know that could help make or break my decision? Thanks so much!
Yea, that means standing room only in the upside down hands section. You have to stand in your hands. No...correct me if I'm wrong peeps...but "In Hand" just means the ticket agency has the tickets in hand. Ticket agencies buy tickets like the rest of us and they have to wait for them to be delivered like everybody else. Hence, they may advertise and sell ticket(s) they do not have yet on the premise that they will arrive at some point(or else why would they sell fictitious tickets unless it's another scam) and be delivered to you...the other buyer. I don't think there is any trickery going on there.
