Who do you think is gonna be the big MVP in the All Star Game on Sunday? I think MVP is gonna be pretty close, but I think West wins out hands down...

I say Amare. Usually selfish players or stat-padders are most likely to win the All-Star MVP.

I think Tracy wants the award and he thought he had it in 03, but got the shaft... I think Tracy is the type of player that wants to win EVERYTHING, and thats a good thing for us... PLUS, he needs to show Orlando whats up...

I would bet money that Yao is going to win it next year here in Houston. I could put my whole life savings on it.

Its like pre-planned. Have Yao go off for like 45 pts and get the MVP in which, oh yea, is being played here in Houston. Pretty much how Shaq got his last year.

amare will win the mvp just cuz he's gonna get so many easy dunks since no one plays defense in this game.

I wopuldn't be surprised if Nash gets in there and starts feeding Dirk,Amare,Marion, plus the rest of the studs. We should witness quite a show by the West. So,Nash,is my sleeper pick.

Interesting! 10 choices and not 1 from the East... In this poll I voted Nash because he's distributed all year and made Phoenix a contender, but if we had Eastern selections I might choose Shaq, Wade or James, guess it really depends on who wins the game.

Shaq's getting it for the East. I'm not budging. LeBron is my dark horse.

If we can only go West, I'd say Amare. Duncan doesn't care about glory, and Pop is very likely to hold his minutes down (bad ankle). Kobe's apparently asked for limited minutes, but I don't know if I really trust that. Yao won't get it since he's the furthest extreme from a scene stealer.

McGrady would be my #2 choice for the West.

My bad - it's that not reading the whole question thing again. Guess that's why I was a "C" student.

Kobe will only play for 10 minutes.

TD won't play longer. TMac wants 15 minutes. Probably Yao also only wants 15 min, no more than 20.

That leaves door open for KG, Dirk, Nash and Amare for the West (if they win) or Shaq, Lebron if the East wins.
