anyone care to speculate what our Rockets will be doing during this All-Star Break?

We know what Steve's doing, dunk contest and All-Star Game...

but what about Cato and the rest of the gang?

Mobley is going to be in Philly also for the 989 Sports All-Star Hoop-It-Up.

    HOUSTON
    Cuttino Mobley
    Tina Thompson
    Kenny Smith
    Jamie Foxx

I also thought I heard that Moochie might go to help Steve in the Dunk Contest - but I think the league said that Cuttino had to help instead.

    Rocketability -

I'm thinking the league would do that because Cuttino was already going to be there, and they didn't want to waste another hotel room on Mooch. If not that, something along the lines of that.

Maybe from what they've seen they believe Mooch can only dribble, and not pass....

*as always, IMHO - pls do your own due diligence*

Hopefully Mobley will team up with Francis for some crazy ass dunks. When you think about it, this can only help Mobley. Him playing in that 3 on 3 thing and being on the same TV screen with Francis, can only help his image.

If the Houston team can win that 3 on 3 thing, and he can get some TV time with Steve, that would make for some pretty good national exposure for Mobley.

Im sure that not very many people outside of H-Town know who he is. This weekend can get him some good publicity.

    Take it to em CAT!

Is Cat also going to be in the 3pt shootout?

    according to nba.com - no

    Roster of Participants

    PLAYER TEAM POSITION COLLEGE
Ray Allen Milwaukee G Connecticut '96
Mike Miller Orlando F Florida '02
Steve Nash Dallas G Santa Clara '96
Wesley Person Cleveland G-F Auburn '94
Paul Pierce Boston F-G Kansas '99
    Quentin Richardson L.A. Clippers G DePaul '02
Steve Smith San Antonio G-F Michigan St. '91
    Peja Stojakovic Sacramento F Yugoslavia

but I was pretty sure the announcers said he was? Maybe they were confusing the 3pt shootout with the 3 on 3 game. Man the Houston team was COLD.
