You are reincarnated if you don't believe in an afterlife. I don't know. A specific answer to that question is worth any amount of money. Sure, some think they know. I don't think they know death anymore than they know life.

The way I see it is that when you finally bite the big one, your soul flies into an alien spaceship 5,000,000 light years away from Alpha Centauri, and its totally sweet and everything. But then some normal stuff happens, like you have to fill out a bunch of forms, sign a lease on an apartment in Oxphiad VI, where there are nothing but cockroaches and people who think Reggaeton is the only form of music worth listening to. But then you are beamed into an eggplant fusebox, so it makes it worthwhile again for a little bit. Then you meet the girl of your dreams and she's totally into you and you're like damn am I in heaven? But then she has like tremendous amounts of hair on her back and she refuses to shave it for religious reasons and her mother is a Mrockbanian Senator who can have you erased from the entire cosmos with a mere guttural utterance within earshot of a couple well-paid mercenaries. So you end up taking a space-taxi to UU))(())((UU but it turns out everybody there looks and acts like Ray Romano and eats nothing but Velveeta cheese and Spamburgers, but you stay for a while anyway because this one dude named Evan lets you crash on his couch as long as you supply him with some dank ass UU))(())UU Kush that you've been secretly growing behind a dumpster at the 7-11 you got some part time work at while you and a couple dudes from down the street try to "find your sound" and make it big time.
Putting religion into this, if the devil is on this earth, wouldn't that make earth hell? Stuck in hell (under the sun) for all eternity. The sun is your God, because it is the only thing you wish to see. It is the only thing you can see, yet when you look at it it blinds you.
There's nothing wrong with believing in reincarnation. I believe 99/100 people would choose to live forever if given the chance. You are just getting what you wanted.
Sadly, I'm starting to lean toward this: http://beta.news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/stephen-hawking-says-afterlife-fairy-story-150719080.html
