It's the first round of the All NBA Draft Part 2! For this draft we used a $75 million hard cap. Production estimates for each player are based on their 2010-2011 seasons. All players are considered to be healthy, but age, accumulation of injuries, or serious injuries are accounted for. So, for example, Greg Oden is to be considered healthy but his injury history is to be respected.

This matchup pits ICanDunkOnYao against FrancisFan3.

    ICanDunkOnYao
John Wall / Kirk Henrich / Von Wafer*
    Kobe Bryant / DeMar DeRozan
Caron Butler / Terrence Williams / Chase Budinger
    Blake Griffin / Brandon Bass
    DeAndre Jordan / Kendrick Perkins

    vs.

    FrancisFan3
    PG-Rajon Rondo/ Andre Miller/ Ramon Sessions
    SG- Joe Johnson/ JR Smith
SF- Gerald Wallace/ Danilo Gallinari/ Reggie Williams
    PF- Serge Ibaka/ Andray Blatche
    C- Al Horford/ Derrick Favors

I think this is a great matchup. I love the Kobe / Blake combo, but FrancisFan's team is so solid 1-5. The athleticism and defense of that team would be very very hard to deal with.

Actually, I think the athleticism of my team outweighs his. Practically everyone in my team can throw down a thunderous dunk, while the only players that stand out on his team are Ibaka and Wallace. His primary scorer, JJ, and I don't know if it's a good idea to rely on someone infamous for disappearing in clutch situations

When your top scorer is Joe Johnson I think there's a problem.

Also, Al Horford is not a center, he's a PF that is forced to play center for his team, though I don't see him getting punished too much by Deandre Jordan.

Well obviously my team is based on defense but i find it weird that on mostly all of the matchups that the bench is never mentioned. I think the bench should matter quite a bit in these matchups as evidenced by the nba finals this past year.

As far as my team I have Rondo as the point and i believe he is a top 5 pg...there were times when he took over the boston team and clearly makes it easier for most of them being as great as a facilitator as he is. Plus his defense is top notch probably the best defensive pg in the game right now.

Now i see alot of hate for joe johnson and merely i think its because of his contract more than anything else. He is still a top 10 shooting guard in the league and as rondo as my point should make it easier for him to have open looks. This is where its hard to base stats on players when its not the actual team. The last time he had a great facilitator in phoenix he shot 47% from three and 55% in the playoffs. Now you cant tell me that rondo wouldnt give him open looks as he sets up allen and pierce all day. How quickly we forget some things...

As for wallace...he ended the year strong with portland. He is a two way hustle player as well. One of my favorite players in the league

Ibaka and Horford are mainly there for the dirty work as far as rebounds, blocks, put backs, and defense. Both of them might surprise as they both have developing mid rangers...heres a nice video (whos his frontcourt again:p)

The bench is where i feel i can capitalize on some teams...andre miller and ramon sessions are both quality point guards...to have them on my bench is very rewarding as they keep the assists coming. Jr smith and gallinari are shooters to spread the court and blatche can be a scorer in the post as well.

Just want to say that this draft is a great way to kill time hoping that the lock out will end (hopefully...i miss basketball already:()
