This guy was lighting it up tonight. He's a smart player passing to the open man, lightning quick, and knocking down shots! He's totally surpassing all my expectations I had for him. He has looked soooo much better than Rafer in these last few games.

    I AM impressed!!

It's nice to see how much confidence he has even, especially considering he didn't play all that much last year.

But he provides a great change of pace.

It's amazing how fast he's turned the corner this offseason. No pun intended.

he can score, but we dont need our starting PG to be a scorer.........look at the box score.......0 asissts!! he should come off the bench like he has as an added scoring punch.

Aaron Brooks for Block of the Night!
Barry for Assist of the Night!
Barnes and Shaq for "Dirty play of the Night"

Aaron would have had at least a couple of assists if Brent Barry could shoot as advertised.

yeah i just saw that which is quite surprising if you were actually watching the game. he had GOOD passes like hueby brown said but its probably because the scorer just didn't knock down shots.

    I guess "0". That's why he can't be CP3, maybe another AI.

I was debating on getting either a Scola or Landry jersey last year. Now I have to contemplate getting his too.

    Wrong!!!

This is why he struggled last year.....he wasn't playing his game and was trying to pass instead of just letting his instincts dictate his game.

His impact on the game is more than just on the assist column.....he breaks down defenses with ease which gives other teams another player to worry about.

They didnt play alot, only for about 3 mins at the end of the first and a couple in the third before the fight, but i did like haing both of them on the court at the same time. Problem is that it wont work against many teams. Only worked tongiht because Nash, Barbosa, Bell and Dragic are all small guys who play out on the perimeter.

This kid is looking legit. If this is for real, it is a huge plus for the team. Rafer should be sitting out more and more. Brook's play is the highlight of the season so far.

The 0 assists is misleading. Brooks was getting penetration, and making good kick outs. Guys were just missing shots.

One of the reason Brooks had 0 assists was that after setting guys like Landry and Barry up perfectly, they weren't hitting their shots.

He is not an elite playmaker but he is better than some people think. He has great handles and is a good passer. He'll have games where he puts up 8 or 9 assists easily.

Tonight was a weird game. Nash only had 3 assists. The Rockets only had 13 and the Suns only had 11.
