    Balanced attack

The chemistry is coming around, and they are sharing the ball. 2 guys averaging more than 20ppg, and the rest over 10 ppg.

Let's hope the Rockets can dig themselves out of this massive hole, but they are going to have to beat some teams that will be favored.

The next couple of games will tell a lot, let's see how far they have come.

Also, I really like Bogans, to get a rotation player for a hustle type fill in player like Baxter was a good trade.

DD i totally agree with you on everything. I was actually noticing all the same things today. i love our balanced attack. When we had cat and steve we only had 2 scorers and the rest averageing under 10, but now i love the balance.

I really loved Bogans' intensity out there. He makes hard passes and really goes hard after those rebounds (anyone else notice the grunts while grabbing the boards?)

This team is FINALLY coming around, im curious to see who we are going to get for DA and whether or not trading Swift is the best thing for us. I think he deserves more time. I know this is the NBA, but he honestly could have gone to many other places, but he came to us without playing games. I say give him till next years trading deadline to decide on that. He is young, and we have him cheap, why not take a little bit of a risk. PLUS JHO is off contract this year, we will be really thin in the front court without him.

I am wondering what will happen if we get a quality PF, a 10/10 guy will be very nice. Add a deeper bench then we will be legit. Of course I assume T-Mac will be T-Mac again.

Just wait until he fully recovers from the MCL sprain he suffered. He's still wearing that bulky knee brace. He's supposed to be a terrific athlete. I don't know too much about his outside shooting though.

I'm liking the Bogans trade as well. The young legs and athleticism is exactly what the rockets needed. I also didnt remember him being that physical.

All the reports said that Bogans was a good defender (check) and a good 3 pt. shooter (Still yet to be showcased).

no boozer has been oft injured and a huge contract. its karma paying him back I would rather keep swift in that case.

as for the guys, if we make the playoffs all the injuries will have become a blessing in diguise. During the stretches where either T-mac or Yao or both were injured the other starters were building confidence in themselves to score. And now when everyone is healthy (as healthy as we'll get it seems) even when Tracy is having probably his worst night since leaving toronto we pull away with a W. Now what we need is a few consistent 8ppg and 6ppg bench players (head/swift and bogans or barry?)

i just wish sura was playing

While we're at it, why don't we try Alston for Allan Houston?

Very true. Now all we need is a solid bench (ok, I'll even go for heathly right now), and we'll be in really good shape. I hope they do something soon with DA and get that spot filled, and I hope they bring JB back soon. That would really help out.

I'm not sure if the stats will last. Considering that the reason why Alston, Howard and Wesley had so many scoring opportunities was because Yao and McGrady were down.

Regardless, the team has really gelled and I think the Bogans' acquisition has potential. I won't be surprised if we do sneak into the playoffs.

    That's a killer.

The Rockets need to cut him outright. Addition by subtraction for sure. If the Rockets think they can win a title with Howard playing a significant role, they are sorely mistaken.

That's not true. You may be right that he probably can't be a starting power forward anymore but to say that he has no value is just plain foolish. He's still money when it comes to the mid range jumper and could easily give a nice scoring boost off of the bench. He easily could fit the mold of an Antonio McDyess and his role in Detroit.

That being said, his contract pays too much for someone who should be coming off of the bench. But cutting him outright doesnt save any money, and he's far from being bad enough to where this is addition by subtraction.

If Chuck Hayes got Juwan's minutes, I believe he would be a 10/10 guy.

I disagree. I think Hayes is a more effective player, and as a team we seem to play better when he's on the court. I honestly think if we just cut Howard outright and gave Chuck Hayes all his minutes, we'd be a much better team.
