My son just received his new toy. He bought a computer from Alienware. P4, 1.5 Gig, 256 MB, DVD, CD burner, Soundblaster theatre system/soundcard, Rage 64 MB video, 19 inch flat screen monitor. Anyone out there ever deal with Alienware machines? I've read nothing but good things about them, but have never heard from anyone with first hand experience. ------------------
I personally think they are overpriced. You can built those machines for 3/4 of the price. ------------------ Nice guys finish last ... and im surely not going to finish last!
Alienware is really popular among the "gaming" crowd. They build some really fast machines with some really high-end parts. If you're not into gaming, you can probably do cheaper. Oh, and Daddy Bobrek, are you sure you meant "1.5 gig"?
