Do you believe in these little guys? Are they evil or benevolant? Do you have any interesting alien/UFO stories to share with us? --------- Personally, I don't care for them very much...
There has got to be intelligent life other than ours...I find it hard to believe there isn't, but heck, what do I know...I always find myself watching an alien show when it comes on TLC or discovery...Area 51 is always an interesting topic as well...
X-com was one of the coolest games I played on my DOS based 486. Damn computer is too fast to play it nowadays...scrolls too fast even at the slowest setting. That game explains everything about UFO's!
I'm sure that there has to be some form of life out there. Whether or not its "intelligent" I don't know. Seems like very bad odds, given that only two of the nine planets in our solar system have had the capability to house life, and on the one that did, after a billion years and countless species, only one creature has reached space. Then again, I am by no means a mathemetician or any kind of expert, and the universe is too large to begin to understand. If there was an advanced civilization trying to contact us, I don't think I'd be able to trust it after all those sci-fi movies and even looking back on our own history.
I can't believe that there isn't other intelligent life out there in the universe. I also can't make the call on benevolent or evil. We'll see when we make contact. And besides, we can't judge all ET life by the "people" who show up first... So who knows!
I think there's intelligent life on other planets, but I don't think they've made contact with us yet.
I believe there is another world far far far far far away, with people living just like we are here today. We can only travel so far up in space...
I believe they would wear clothes and space suits since it's entirely possible our planet's atmosphere isn't good for them.
I believe that aliens exist but am still trying to figure out why they're always anal probing people. Given the size of Universe I believe there is life on other planet and highly likely even within our galaxy (possibly even still on Mars). Whether they can get here that part I'm not so sure about it. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.
Odds are almost a certainty that other life exists. Odss are almost non-existent that we on earth would ever have any confirmation of that. (well maybe fossil evidence but not with actual extraterrestial life) And don't give me that crap about "advanced aliens' travelling faster than the speed of light and worm holes etc. The energy budget to approach the speed of light requires that the object have little or no mass. That doesn't work to well for spaceships or intellegent life forms.
With billions of billions of star systems out there. There are probably tons of life forms. We are probably too backward for the real civilized life forms to notice us. I think volcans will visit us in 1000 years.
What do you think of the people of just 1000 years ago believed was possible today? I bet you can not even begin to imagine the technology advancement in another 1000 years. There could be major breakthrough in physics and other fields.
Yeah, let alone a BILLION year head start, which could be possible as well. Or course, the flip side of that is what are the odds a civilization that powerful could last that long without blowing itself up.
I bet they do not have to choose between Kerry and Bush for their president. Oh we could all be replaced by robots in 1000 years too.
