algebra help

    i have this problem

    find an equation of the line of slope m = -4 passing through the intersecion of the lines 5x - 2y = 4 and -3x + 7y = 15

    now I solved both equations and got my point (2, 3) and solved b which is 11 when entering in the info i solved for

    how do i make this into an equation

    y = mx + b

    y = -4x + 11

    now pay me my 15 bucks for tutorials.

    solve second equation for "x"

    add the first two equations together to get rid of the "x"
    Solve that for z....

    Fill in those values on the 3rd equation... solve for y. Solve for x by using second equation and the y value... etc

    1st equation subtract second equation will give u a value = -3/2a - Vo

    Solve for Vo --> Vo = -3/2a - 8

    substitute that for an equation AND the third equation. i.e. 25/8a + 2.5(-3/2a -8) + So along with another equation.

    You're down to 2 variables. Go from there... solve for a, Vo, So and write your equation for the height of an object with a certain acceleration, initial velocity, and initial height
