David Aldridge would not come out on National TV and say something false, on a hunch. He would lose his credibility as a reporter and he wouldn't be working at ESPN anymore he would be working for KSUK in Po Dunk, GA making low 4 figures instead of high 5 figures or low 6 figures at ESPN. In his defense; trade deadline rumors always seem to fall through. I will say he is much better than ESPN others trade analysts in other sports like Peter Gammons (There is no doubt Roger Clemens will be an Astro by the start of the 99 season. I am positive.). As we know that never happened.

Of course not, there is no way a genius like Dave could be wrong,

He's never dribbled **** before and he certainly has never reported something wrong before especially if it based on a rumour, NEVER not Dave .

As far as I'm concerned, David Aldridge is just NBAtalk.com with legs.
