Foxnews is reporting it now. They are saying that they may preceed this attack with several small scale attacks.

Maybe they're getting tired of waiting for US to attack Iraq. I wondered if they would attack after a War started.

Geez, you'd think the Bush Admin. trusts them and is giving them all the good leaks. I wonder why that is.

    ;)

Although I though Bush gave USAToday all the good stuff.

Sometimes I wonder if republicans are disingenuous. Then I realize they just misunderstand the criticisms posed by the left... that they're not as intelligent as we are. As an egalitarian, I have to hold sympathy for you guys.

If Fox News suddenly reports that the Columbia blew up... noone questions that material fact. They get labeled as 'biased' when they divert from the purpose of a news outlet and add commentary that is partisan.

Quite obviously, "intelligence" must be subjectively assessed in your world.

I can see how that would work for you guys.

And is "disingenuous" the fifty cent word of the month?

It's just the nice way to avoid calling you a liar or a ****ing idiot. ;)

If you can't reason why Fox can't be both partisan and report something that is actually true then I'll just dispense w/ the pleasantries and evoke the latter terminology. :p

Nope, we're not dumb. We're disingenous. I actually don't believe anything I say, including this post.

You know me........pleasantries are WAY overrated.

As for you argument about Fox...........far be it from me to try and dissuade you. I don't pay any attention to them, so I really have no opinion one way or the other.

Color me stupid, but I'm failing to see how it's news that Al Queda is planning a terrorist attack.

Good thing we're going to bomb the **** out of Iraq, that will stop them!

Ironic, I was think the same about the Democrats' comment on size of Bush's budget proposal: 'irresponsible'.

I'd be interested to see whether the Democrats would like to cut back on defense or social programs.

The best defense against terrorism is roving teams of assassins killing off random suspected terrorists around the world. Above all, man fears the unknown.

You can see a tank coming, you know when they're going to drop bombs on you, but you never know when you're going to go to bed one night and someone is going to slip in and slit your throat.

Yeah, sort of how in World War 2 the Allies just went around killing "suspected" Nazis. What an injustice that was.
