He is probably more popular now than he has ever been, and his movie Inconvenient Truth is the 4th highest grossing documentary of all time and may pass "Columbine" for 3rd.

He won the popular election in 2000, and is only 58 years old.

He is someone I would vote for in a heartbeat and I think it is his time.

    No
He is New World Order dictator material.
I'm only voting for Constitutional, Ethical, Honest, Humble, Virtuous, Trustworthy men and women.

But I am confused about this whole political process so ignore my opinion please.

I don't know who to vote for.

Yep... I think he is the only one out here who has the intelligence and experience to get us and the world well on the path back to 2000. I think he's the kind of guy who will put country first, and it's a good thing because whoever has to spend their Presidency cleaning up after the current administration should be doing it for the right reasons... there's not going to be a lot glory in it... just a crushing work burden.

rhester, the world would have been a much better place if Christians like you had given Gore the same kind of benefit of the doubt you granted George W Bush, not just once, but twice.

Actually I would vote for Mel Gibson if he would act out the role-

Lead the nation like Jesus (Passion of the Christ)
Fight for the Constitution like Benjamin Martin (Patriot)
Fight against the UN and the FED like William Wallace (Braveheart)
Lead our military like Lt. Col. Hal Moore (We were soldiers)
And trust no politician (Conspiracy theory)

    (no Mad Max please) :D

abortion, global goverance, fiscal responsibility, constitutional authority, honesty etc. not much difference there.

They both have their political knees bowed low to the global elite bankers/industrialists.

Families like DuPont, Li, Collins, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Van Duyn and the like seem to decide presidents and dictators conveniently for both political parties.

No I did not give GW the benefit of the doubt nor do I give it to Gore.

I would vote for Ron Paul but he won't ever be president.

When it comes to politics I like to play it like a video game, pretend it is real life. So I do vote. I just don't know why.

The only president who ever came close to those was Jimmy Carter and we saw where that went. You have to have a president that can play the game of politics or else you just won't get results. Carter was the first to demand an end to oil dependence, the first and maybe only president to seriously challenge pork barrel spending, and probably was the most idealistic president we've ever had.

And yet, he couldn't get jack squat done in part because he never played the game and couldn't cut compromises and settle for less. It's a sad reality but that's how it is. GWB in my opinion probably has gone too far in pandering to the political elite but some pandering is necessary in order to create results in our system.

2000 was Al Gore's chance. He missed it.

And as we all know, the Dems don't give a loser the second chance.

He will further the North American Union concept, Global dictatorship (UN-agendas) and strengthen the FED and the IRS- he is a Central Bankers flunky like Bush, which is not good for us.
I think he serves the same power brokers, I do believe America is in trouble and both political parties take their orders from such.

    I am a conspiracy nut
    as a hobby

Which I have little time for so I am probably wrong, but it is fun to me to read about it all.

Most of my time is given to family, church, sports in that order

But the clutchfans addiction is starting to affect me me me me me me me me

Good luck with Gore, I will pray for him as I pray for Bush if elected.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Patriot character is one who is haunted by his experiences in the French and Indian War and refuses to get involved in the struggle for independence until a British General, acting to suppress the popular support of the terrorist, er, patriot uprising, kills his son. Only after the death of the son does the Patriot rise up to fight the British. (Hmmm, maybe there's a lesson here for the US in Iraq and Israel in Lebanon.)

Also, the Revolution ended in 1782, the Constitution was not ratified until 1789, so there's no way he could have been fighting for the Constitution.

I am willing to bet that ANYONE that makes this statement hasn't spent significant time living outside of the USA to appreciate the freedom you enjoy here.

Yea, this country has problems. But do you watch the news? Do you read ANY history books to even look at what FASCISM was/is?

Heading toward facism? Wow. How underappreciative we have become. Lost is how BLESSED we are to be truly living in this country. We are a truly lucky nation who happen to be run by a sorry excuse for a president. I didn't see any "fascist" comments on the BBS when Clinton was president. So, this happened in just 6 years? Just take a minute to think about the world and the other countries before making such a ridiculous statement.

thegary, we are old school in here. I love alot of what you post about. But I have never disagreed with you more. I think that statement is CLUELESS.

That goes for anyone else that thinks we are headed for Fascism. Please spend some time living in another third world country and then come back and post. Appreciate what you have.

By the way, Gore dissed Clinton. That was his downfall. Now he is going to go up against his wife? Not a chance.

I voted for GWB twice, I think I regret it. I don't like his behavior.

I am really confused on politics- I mean that sincerely.

I appreciate the suggestions on voting but I have lost trust

It is hard to get it back

My focus is on God at this time until I understand what to do besides pray.

    I'll bite

I think we have been headed in this direction gradually since the Civil War, and I love America and I have lived in third world countries and I am deeply saddened by the changes in America just in my 52 yrs. and I appreciate every little freedom I have left.

I just don't blindly bow down and worship the government.

Once again, we agree. I didn't feel the earth shake, although I half expected it. ;)

I agree with DD and rimrocker that this may be Gore's time. He's intelligent and (you'll love this!), like Nixon, has learned from his political mistakes. He's learned enough to get himself elected. I'd end comparisons there, thank god. If anyone has benefited from observing the chaos of the Bush years, and the chaos whirling around the Democratic Party during the same period, it is Gore. He knows the fundamental crises facing the planet, and our country, and has the depth to do something about them.

Now, if he would pick Obama for his VP, we have a ticket that will win, and excite America again about it's future.

    Keep D&D Civil.

I don't really know Gore's views on immigration, but considering that he's a democrat, they can't be very good.

    I can't stand Bush's immigration stance either.

I would vote for any candidate, republican, democrat, or independent, who is serious about correcting our immigration debacle.

Unfortunately, none of the current crop of politicians are willing to tackle this problem, because they are too afraid of losing the hispanic vote.

The American people want something done about this, and they are getting tired of the democrats subverting the will of the people by denying a public vote on immigration reform (why should the future of our immigration policy largely be determined by a small handful of politicians on the senate immigration board headed by Ted Kennedy & John McCain? Let the public have their vote on it.)

The American people are also getting tired of the republicans avoiding this issue. Something must be done about this, and i'll vote for anyone who is willing to do it.

If Gore put the environment on the backburner for a while and stopped illegal immigration (a much more pressing danger to our country), he would have my vote in a heartbeat. Of course, that's not gonna happen.
