Al Gore will go down in history as the biggest charlatan in our generation. He's an alarmist, scientists everywhere agree that he grossly exaggerated many points in his 'movie', he avoids any substantive debate on the topic, instead choosing movies and concerts as mindless ways to reach the naive simpletons who listen to him, and he is out to destroy countless jobs and ruin our standard of living by imposing carbon cuts that he himself disregards in his personal life. He is a holy terror and the spawn of satan.

And we would be much better off if he won the 2000 election.

Al Gore is just all about himself and his own greed wanting the environment to be clean. /sarcasm.

T_J, this is your most believable post in months, since being a charlatan is something you know about quite well.

I wonder if he'll take a commercial flight down to Austin, or come in on his own private jet...

Porve, por favor. I haven't met these scientists. Which data sets were "grossly exaggerated" exactly?

    How old are you anyway?

Still relying on daddy or grand daddy for your political beliefs?

I just wouldn't want Al Gore's political career to be stained if he managed to show up to talk about global warming after arriving in Austin on his own private jet that carried, maybe, five people.

Anybody know what transportation he'll be using to get from the airport to the UT Campus? I'm sure it won't be a big, gas guzzling limo...probably one of those new hybrid limos...

    Just wondering, that's all...

Why do people need to pay good $ to listen to someone speak about global warming. Come to my house, I'll get on my soapbox and talk for free.

Oh you know its all about the carbon footprint, since Al has MORE $$$ than you, he can stay carbon neutral, while the rest of you should be riding bike to work.
