I love this link, I check it everyday. http://www.tnrcc.state.tx.us/cgi-bin/monops/psi_rpt Houston has the worst air in the state most of the time and it is quite consistent in being up there in the numbers (I read the bold numbers to the far right column)....tsk, tsk, tsk. BTW, pollution being one of the main reasons I left that city! I knew it wasn't in my imagination... Austin can be a polluted little city as well for all you environment loving, sandal wearing, keep Austin wierd folks! Oddly enough Beaumont/Port Arthur and Longview are almost as bad as Houston sometimes. Oil refiners I guess?
yes...the Golden Triangle has almost as many industries as we do. hey....if ya dont like the pollution, maybe we should elect some guys who will actually make Exxon and thier buddies quit spewing crap into the air without being penalized... grandfather clause my ass...
Oh yes, I might add, everytime San Antonio has an Ozone Alert day the radio always says its from "pollution blowing in from Houston and Dallas!" but I ain't mad atcha
