Who else finds them extremely annoying and a really lame version of ernie johnson, kenny smith and charles barkley? i just wish people would quit giving ahmad rashad jobs.

No me gusta. I have to turn them off. I like when it's Kamla and E Snow. They aren't annoying and Kamla amuses me. Ahmad is such a... well I can't even being to label him without breaking the rule "If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all"
This trio is pretty excruciating. Not only can you barely understand them but I find it funny how bitter Gary Payton is. He's like Barkley-eque in terms of bitterness -- only with a championship.
Gary Payton can be a bit annoying at times, but it is WORLDS better and more entertaining than what NBATV had last year and in the past. I'd rather sit in my room in silence instead of listen to Andre Aldridge though. He's about the fakest, most insincere host I've ever heard anywhere. I don't care WTF you went to college...... seriously...
Listen only a little bit during the last Rockets game on NBA TV and had to switch it after a few mins.
They are definitely rough around the edges as commentators. I find them entertaining though. Kinda like Calvin Murphy. I really like how they put players on the spot with their questions. Gary Payton asked Ben Gordon "when are you going to start becoming the old, end of game dominator again?" and Ben had no idea what to say. He also asked a similar question to Melo. I like Payton a lot.
They are better than Kenny, Charles and E.J. but it doesn't really bother me anymore. NBA commentary, local and national, has gone downhill since the end of the 90s and is declining rapidly. It was the best in the 80s and early 90s. All these people are just goofing around nowadays instead of really analyzing the games, although Webber is pretty serious at times.
I'd like to see Gary, Charles and EJ. Now that would be entertaining. Although with Kenny gone there would be no ''escape goat" that takes punishment.
