I remember a few years ago when the Rockets and the Bulls met on NBC. The matchup was on the frontpage of The USA Today. It was profiling each of the teams big 3 against each other. Pippen vs. Olajuwon, Drexler vs. Jordan, and Barkley vs. Rodman. I dont remember the result of that game but I think it was very close. But now a few years later only 2 of those 6 stars are in the NBA (Olajuwon and Pippen) and only one is still with their original team (Olajuwon). The match of The Rockets and The Bulls has gone form frontpage of the weekend edition of The USA Today to being dropped from NBC. What a difference a few years makes. If the game was 1997 like I am assuming, the Rockets finished the game on an 18-0 run, and won by like 10.....It was great. ------------------
agreed...its pretty pathetic that NBC would rather show some golf tourney in the middle of the other two NBA games...Guess the game that has the top two ROY prospects in it just isn't good enuff to be put on their precious network  ------------------ Go Rockets Go Need more LottoBalls!!
Well, in hindsight, do you still think it was wrong for them to not televise a 45-point blowout/yawner? ------------------ <this space for rent>
