Fall. the better temperture. Baseball playoffs, Football is here and Texans coming round the bend.

    BASKETBALL is Coming!!!! ROCKETS!

Hunting and fishing and all kinds of great things happen in the Fall. Driving in your convertible for a nice Sunday drive. Snuggling up with your bed partner on a chilly night.....

Can you think of a better season and why?

Agreed. We always complain about the Texas heat, but late September through February is perfect weather.

Just wondering ROXRAN, but does fall also happen to be squirrel season or something? :D

    I don't mind fall, but I'm more of a spring person myself;
    - in the northern latitudes, its the signal of the end of cold weather. Out with the winter parka and gloves, in with cooler clothes.
    - the grass turns green, flowers come out and just that overall awesomely fresh scent that comes with spring!
    - the excitement of the NHL and NBA play-offs, and the promise of a young baseball season.
    - days tend to be sunnier (at least here), and longer.
    - the anticipation of summer parties and fun looms.

    and ...

on a completely unrelated note, isn't spring the season when, um, our hormones are sky high? ;)

I used to not care for fall as much (for one thing, there isn't really a fall season in Amarillo. It goes from 103 degrees one day to -5 degrees the next), but I've really grown to like it over the last few years. I don't think it's my favorite season yet, but it's moving on up there.

Fall is BY FAR my favorite of the seasons. Last week when the cool front blew through in Houston, I went out to the park between Allen Parkway and Memorial to take pictures of the skyline for Mayor Brown's website. Man, it was simply amazing out there!!!

I just love this weather! :D

I'm a summer and winter person myself. I hate the intermediate seasons. Give me the extremes!

Although winter in Washington is pretty crappy. I'm like a kid when it comes to snow, and it usually only gets down to about 34 degrees at the coldest here, so we get nothing but cold rain. This far north, and we only get cold rain. It used to snow at least one week per winter, but not in the last few years.

Even worse, the weather in the ski resorts has been horrible. Last year, my favorite resort only got 80 inches, after having 150 the year before! I want a cold winter dammit!

And I love hot summers. I tell you, I really missed the Texas heat when I came to Washington for my first summer. Clouds and cold the whole season...

Of course, now that I play tennis, I enjoy a little clowd cover.

Anyway, getting back to the original point:

Autumn and Spring are my least favorite seasons.

Yes fall in houston is perfect. I love burning wood in the fire pit out back after a cold fronts swoops down. I love to breath in that cold crisp air and sip on a nice cold beer right when the fall sun begins to set below the horizon. Twilight is my favorite but the twilight hours during the fall season are breathtaking. Yes sir, Houstons wonderful in the fall.
