I am happy to see the LAkers win. Right now I know your thinking is he a bandwagon Laker fan, the answer is no. I am a Rocket fan to the grave. The reason I am happy that they won is that it makes the 95 Rockets team look so much better. After thinking about it for a while I have concluded that the Lakers are a carbon copy of that great Rocket championship team. If you just think about it you can see all the similarities. First of all both teams have the best center in the leauge at their times. Secondly, both have great 2 gaurds who can do it all. And lastly everyone else can play defense and shoot the 3. If some of you still don't belive me the Lakers have Horry on their roster. I wonder what team had him before (and I don't mean the Suns). So when they play the Nets in the Finals I say go Lakers because if they win our 95 Rocket team wins too. Everyone can take notice at just how great it was.
I'm glad to see the Kings lose because of all the Laker haters who had their panties tied up in a knot because of the refs.
I feel the same way you do D-roc. I'm a diehard Rockets fan, and living in LA, I've been watching the Lakers for the past six years. I even pictured the Kings as a less cheap and more talented version of the Jazz... The Lakers have a bigger swagger than that Rockets team, but they're playing the right basketball at the right times just like the old 95 Rockets. I remember that regular season when I kept on calling them lazy for letting the other team build up a great lead into the fourth quarter. But I can't imagine Phil bringing in CBA rejects that will make or break his team. He has Devean George and Samaki Walker to do that...
Watching Horry hit those threes is still a beautiful sight- When the pressure hits C-Webb is still calling mental timeouts ...Bibby team captain 03
